An organised Monday

E1 team meeting at 10:30pm at Cafenatics.  Big brekkie and a coffee.

Lunch was a salad with leg ham and some left over chicken.

Pretty basic but actually very tasty :)

Saturday & Sunday - Good solid food choices

Saturday morning, hit up a long black before some training at Schwartz's.

At about 1:30pm I ran into mum down the street at Artful Dodger!  Great coincidence!

Had another long black, scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado and mushrooms.

Dinner at the folks place - baked Atlantic salmon, pumpkin and cauliflower mash and asparagus.

Sunday morning, Laura and I had brekkie with Bjorn, Amy and Ace.  Scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado and some chorizo.

Light lunch of salad and ham.

Afternoon snack of a chili sausage and a leftover piece of salmon.

Dinner was a half of a BBQ chicken and loads of salad.

Two glasses of sauvingon blanc with Tom and Will and Emma watching the tennis at Wonderland, Chapel Street.

Disorganised Brekkie & Lunch

Very tired post tennis tournament today...

Brekkie was from Cafenatics, lunch was a salsa, chicken and vegetable salad thinger from Collins Place.

Managed to stay clean in spite of disorganisation.  Happy.

Australia Day!!

Well, Aussie Day started out perfectly.  A great breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado and mushrooms with a coffee.

Food choices were a little poorer for the rest of the day.  In between sets of tennis at the Ciancio Classic, I ate sausages, Red Rock chips, some Allen's lollies, a homemade hamburger with the lot, then finished up the night with some chocolate.

All very tasty, but I think my cheat day came early this week.

Breakfast - Ground Beef Chilli & Egg Scramble

Super delicious breakfast from Laura this morning.

Used some of the ground beef chili I made last night and scrambled it with eggs, plus some avocado on the side.

Yum.

Monday - Not so organised

Didn't make it to the markets over the weekend, so was left a little unprepared today.

Brekkie was the big brekkie from Cafenatics.

Lunch was some salmon sashimi and a seaweed salad.

Dinner was great - scotch filet steak (plus some blade steaks!), nice big salad.

Cooked up a nice ground beef chili mix thing for the next few days of lunch.

Sunday - rubbish!

Wow, was not feeling good today.

Had about 4 eggs at 9am, then back to sleep.

Lunch was smoked salmon, 3 eggs and some salted cashews.

Dinner was then a dirty large pizza from Shagy's Pizza.  Absolutely awesome, except I was so full and bloated I couldn't sleep.  Yuck.

Saturday was interesting....

Not a perfect day...

Brekkie was fine, some eggs and avocado.  Then a coffee from Artful Dodger.

Then had 2 scotches and a couple more coffees at Josh's place - very nice.

Lunch was at the Middlepark Lawn bowls club, a couple of sausages in bread, plus a great big Angus beef burger with bacon, egg and onion.  And a tonne of beers.

Then just lots of beers :)

Friday Good Times

Had a big brekkie in the city at Cafenatics, always good.

No lunch today - too busy.

Dinner was a BBQ at the park with some friends.  Sausages, satay chicken skewers, some salami as entree along with some sun-dried tomatoes and olives.

Had a glass of Drift Bay sauvignon blanc (nice drop) and a couple of Anzac Cookies - definitely paleo ;)

Thursday Dinner - All You Can Eat Greek!!!

This is so fantastic - a paleo dream.

All you can eat Greek food at the Saint in St Kilda on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Lamb, chicken, beef in a bunch of different styles, heaps of salad and homemade garlic sauce (which I hear is the grandma's recipe!!)

I managed to get through 4.5 plates, loved every minute of it.

Breakfast - Friday Treat

Had a great big breakfast from Cafenatics on Market Street in the city.

Always a great feed (top value at $12.90 too!) and the coffee is fantastic.

Poached eggs, avocado, grilled tomato, spinach, sausages and mushrooms.  Left the toast.

Lunch - Leftover Fish & Salad

Gotta love leftovers!!  Especially when they're this good :)

Breakfast - Smoked Paprika Bacon Scramble

This was a quick one done under the pump this morning.

Fried up half a brown onion, garlic, salt and pepper, chilli.
Then sliced some organic bacon, threw that in there, added some smoked paprika.
Scrambled 6 organic, free-range eggs and combined in the fry pan.

All gone in about 3 minutes I reckon :)

Dinner - Macadamia Encrusted Flathead and Asian-style Salad

This dish was absolutely effing delicious - prepped by my mum and sister.
Flathead was quite simple, crushed macadamia nuts, some parsley and a few other chivey things, then baked in the oven.
The asian salad had carrots, baby corns, shallots, water chestnuts, red capsicums, some peanuts (not Paleo, but oh well), bean sprouts, coconut shavings.

Awesome!!

Lunch - Leftover Chilli & Salad

Yum at my desk.
This was an easy one.  Just a simple salad leftover from last night along with a big helping of the beef chilli from last night as well.

Voila.

Breakfast - Spicy sausage scramble

Made by my lovely girlfriend this morning :)

3-4 scrambled organic, free-range eggs (markets), brown onion sliced, leftover hot Italian sausage (sliced) salt, pepper.

Wonderful start to the day!  Thanks Lo-Lo xo

Dinner - Baked Chicken, Salad & Some Chilli

Organic, free-range chicken thighs (Prahran markets) baked with spices - smoked paprika, piri piri spice and special steak seasoning

Small amount of a ground beef chilli cookup (organic ground beef, chilli, onion, vine-ripened cherry tomatoes, garlic, spices) for tomorrow's lunch.

Super colourful salad of mixed greens, red & yellow capsicums and assorted tomatoes (orange, dark red, yellow, green, red).

The chicken was particularly amazing.  Very proud of spice concoction :)
